Hello, so today we are gonna be talking about CryHosting (Used to be known as VelocityNodes). And the funny thing is, Velocity had a better owner than this kid LOL. It is best to believe that the owner is a kid and is very childish. When the Velocity owner who I will keep anonymous but I think we all know who they are tbh, everything just got more fucked up and more fucked up.
My friend has recently purchased 4 VPS's and are paying $40 dollars a month, and after 1 FUCKING day, he basically lost access to everything. The owner basically told everyone that they are trying to help fix this. But they are LAZY, they even sound like a bot, but thats just how every child sounds.
Anyways, all the responses has been "Have you tried resetting the VPS password?" or "Can I assist you on resetting the VPS?", or even "Can I help you assist you on reinstalling the OS" which practically has been spammed MORE than 1 time. When I asked on my friends behalf to give them a refund, he told me that their System Admin is working on it. And if you don't know, System Admin is their Upper Management. However, NO management has helped us regarding the issues. And after a day, my friends have been ghosted. But when I dm'ed the owner, he responded within 10 minutes.
He also wanted my friends to give them their passwords, and SSH details.. Which neither has been provided.
He is the only one who can access anything and if he really wanted too, he can fuck everyone up and reset the damn things as well.
I dm'ed him initially saying:

I used to run servers before and I completely understand the frustration that you're going through. When you had to reboot your VPS's, you must've f'ed up your networking, as NO ONE can connect to their VPS's on. But you can, due to you being local. However, that does give you no right to leave the situation alone. I understand that you are trying to resolve this with everyone but its starting to feel a little bit scamish. Before you lose ANYMORE customers, regardless of the fact that you're about to lose a lot more people, PLEASE before your Hosting company gets marked as Scam or even Flagged on sites, I would recommend giving people free new VPS's that was affected, or even compensation / credits.
There also has been NO announcement regarding these issues, and no communication was provided with your company, except your chats being filled with issues and complaints.
He told me the servers are in Germany and that he is in the UK. Which is okay, but maybe he is restricting everything from everyone but himself. And thats what it seems like it.
Everyone has been ghosted, and their support team has also ghosted us. Thankfully I never purchased anything from this scammy hosting.
A lot of other people other than my friend has had issues with this kid when the merge happened. And this needs to end. Refunds need to be issued for everything, and I hope this gains attraction, because I want to protect MY friends and their money.
I also did some digging up through their VPS's that they use, and it seems like they're using Hetzner AND reselling Hetzner products..
