Even though using Bing because of the rewards is a clever thing to do, just use Duck.
personally i use Google to pull up things quickly such as modpacks, looking up certain hosts, or at work. i use DuckDuckGo for looking up stuff that’s on the shadier side that i wouldn’t want to be tracked with. i stopped using Bing a long time ago because of the privacy concerns, racked up a ton of rewards that are just sitting there.
you have to keep in mind that it’s not search engines themselves that track you, it’s predatory web services and social media sites that track you and they do this by collecting your searches and identify your account thanks to Google selling that data to them (even if you never created an account with them). the ones that do it for example are Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest, Quora just to name a few. DuckDuckGo doesn’t sell this data to those companies which is why it’s probably the better choice even though they use Microsoft’s SaaS to create search results and targeted ads inside DuckDuckGo.
