NavoCloud was/is a host that provides free discord bot hosting. However, they are one of the worst hosts I've seen. From being highly unprofessional, using AI for their legal- announcements- and almost all of their things, breaking terms of service for trust pilots, and so much more. This hole is about to get so much more profound. **Ai Generated Content** Let's first start with the AI-generated content; their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service come out to be 90% AI generated from GPTZero; not only that, if you scroll to the bottom of the TOS, I just placeholder words that they were supposed to do- That being there I assume they haven't even read over their own TOS which I find hilarious. Their announcements in Discord were also mostly ChatGPT (You don't even need to scan it, they left the fucking prompt in the announcement). For example, they make random @everyone pings 2-3 times a day just saying some random things- ghost pinging and more. In the announcement, some pings by Godly (kevlarx_) are of him BEGGING people to boost the server and offering credits to do so- giving boost rewards is acceptable; however, pinging and begging for it multiple times in a row is just bewildering and highly unprofessional. Just scroll up their announcements. It's just full of random stuff that makes everything look highly uncreditable and shows that they aren't a reliable host to be with. Also, this was since deleted when making this post; Godly made a ping saying he would pay $3 to each person if they advertised NavoCloud. If/when people did advertise, I highly doubt he would hold up his end of the bargain to pay each person $3. In addition, Godly & Jahz are banning people left and right, and in those ban messages are some... You guessed it: It was highly unprofessional wording. As you have to remember, free hosting attracts kids who are coming into the coding scene and have not yet started to save work on multiple places. However, a host should not just run a script causing over 6000 user servers (if they even said actual numbers) to lose ALL their data. I would be devastated if this happened to me. They then proceed to offer 150 credits for "Your little inconvenience." In respect of the screen shots above and with the other comments made about announcements, I'd like to let it be known I do go overboard with the way I word my messages. Specifically with the way I word my ban messages and the general comments I make, with all due respect Sabrina I'm not someone that usually cares about how I am viewed (unlike someone I know) which Is why I say what I say. Now there's no outright excuse for the way I acted in the above screenshot however that individual both slandered the company that we built and claimed i (myself) stole a copy right protected art when in reality I made it myself. I'm not a fan of furrys and that is neither unacceptable as its a view and its also not illegal, sure its not exactly something to air out however I stand by what I said there and for the record my definition of furry is people who dress up as animals and though this is my PERSONAL opinion it should not have been put with Navoclouds name. Going to what I said about cash grabs and subscriptions, I will not take back what I said due to me clearly stating its a personal opinion not something I outright disagree with. With how u described your code I determined that it did not need to be a subscription based product, hence why I mentioned it should be a one time purchase and that is why I call it a cash grab. As for the way the credits and gambling is handled we make it EXTREEMLY clear its not something we indorse, on our website we have a dedicated section to gambling and how its not something we encourage, its there for people who want a option other than paying. Most of my comments are personal opinions and not at all what NavoCloud represents, I do understand that as a higher ranking member of navocloud I should NOT have made any sort of personal or political comments and for that I do apologise. This does not absolve me of what I have said/done however its a step I need to take in order to improve myself as a person even if u disagree with this. Lastly I'd like to touch up on what you said about pinging and data loss, most if not all of our issues are as a result of abusers on our network, we did not have the structure up prior to recently to prevent the abuse we have had. Data loss such as what happened with suspended servers, yes I admit this should not have been done on the production service however all it did was wipe the database of users not delete the work those users did, we did not have the ability to locate which servers belonged to who which is why (if u actually read the announcements) you would see we made multiple efforts to find and resolve the issue. We are a small team (3 people who have root access to the machines) so we are unable to constantly search every single file of every server to prevent these issues, attempts have been made to combat abusers however most end in either resource intensive scripts or just dont work at all. With respect to the other thing you mentioned about why we offer those prices, we offer them because we want to not because we need to. Those funding this project do not care about the money, we care about upgrading and sustaining it which is why we picked to turn partial paid to help sustain it. This for all intense and purposes is a non-profit, although id like to make some profit in order to upgrade it for everyone that might not happen which is also why we PAY OUT OF POCKET. We have made no profit from this and i'd like to make it VERY clear we do not condone my actions as a person, I take accountability of what I said and I apologise for it.
