If someone else stole the vanity link i wouldn't be mad, but in this case it's my friend which i used to trust and chat daily in my discord server / their own discord server which I got banned from btw. Oh and he used to do this with other services as well, he uses a discord server with botted members and cheaply bought boosts to steal vanity links. Shady. and. lame. If your service is really good then members would look for you, not you after them.

I'm the Assistant Head of Staff for Embotic, one of sillydev's competitors. We have our own experiences with Gamer - and not really good ones. He's basically as much as a pain in the ass with us as he is with everyone else. I don’t need to write silly dev down as business expenses? I pay my taxes over every bit of income I receive. As for Gamer, I apologize, I was wrong. In the UK Underage people are allowed to own a company without listing it as any type of company. So for gamer, as his income is less than 12570 GBP a year he gets the “tax-free allowance” on his earnings. Any gross income over 100gbp will be handled automatically through their legal guardians.

I myself am Dutch, so I wasn’t fully aware of the uk laws

nyxalis No. Silly dev is gamer’s side hussle to earn some money. Silly dev does not generate enough money to have to be listed as a company in the UK.

People are allowed to have a “business” without listing it to earn some money. There is a certain treshold that I don’t know by heart where you do have to register as a company, but silly dev is nowhere near that point yet 🙂
