If someone else stole the vanity link i wouldn't be mad, but in this case it's my friend which i used to trust and chat daily in my discord server / their own discord server which I got banned from btw. Oh and he used to do this with other services as well, he uses a discord server with botted members and cheaply bought boosts to steal vanity links. Shady. and. lame. If your service is really good then members would look for you, not you after them.

Not offering refunds is standard practice for any business really. Whether they decide to offer refunds or not is up to them, and it’s up to us to agree with that part of their terms or not. Sure, providing refunds can provide the customers with a sense of comfort that they can get their money back if things don’t perform as expected, but this should never be seen as a requirement for seeing a business as trustworthy.
Not being registered as an official company does not provide a valid reason to trust the business less. If we took your logic and put it in the real world, then a lot of independent artists, developers, content creators, etc. who don’t work for a company would eventually go bankrupt, because in the end what they are doing is a business since they earn money from it but nobody would trust them since they work independently. I’m pretty sure there’s some of these people you support who you wouldn’t want to see go bankrupt because nobody trusts their businesses.

Kind of confirmed, but given the context Gamer gave me through DMs (e.g. Embotic apparently attacking Sillydev first with a similar exploit), the “out of nowhere” part may be disputed. (If you know more about this feel free to help fact check.)
This is too far fetched. Going through Nico’s comments in this post, I don’t see any mentions of Nico “dickriding” Gamer as you claimed in previous comments, neither begging for reviews of some sort. You’re just being too speculative at this point when evidence that support your claims are either too limited or simply nonexistent.

I’ve actually got my own experience with this fellow

He purchased Radar, proceeded to complain about it and leave a negative review on our sourceXchange about some bullshit “Marks things such as .env suspicious”. This is despite me saying the config is only suitable for my use (which was for MC server hosting…) and that you should edit it

then while I’m out these 2 lads come together to complain about my product.

They got their refunds in the end. Wouldn’t trust a host that can’t edit a config and struggles to figure out how to use an anti-abuse product…
