Hello, you may know Nautical Hosting (https://discord.gg/sEeZgMfsrc).

I was developer for about 1 year at that host, worked on discord bots, helped users with technical support and so on. At some point 2 guys deleted all the servers (on the panel) and, luckily, I stopped them.
Now, 1 month ago I hosted my bot, which was designed to (Yes ik that was dumb and yes I removed it) DM everyone on a server. After that, they banned me of the server and threated me to report me to the police (#1).
Also, they talked rude about me in private chats and said, my bot was designed to hack people and steal private information.

These actions were taken because they directly harmed our community. The images in question were shared in private chats that were not public, and you used a bot to access and monitor them.

Additionally, your bot was designed to DM every user on a server, which is a significant breach of trust and security. While you may acknowledge that it was a mistake and have since removed it, this action had consequences.

Furthermore, your claim that people spoke negatively about you in private conversations does not justify your actions. The measures taken were necessary to protect the integrity and security of our community.

deathenderman i am really curious about how you got to know about his bot sending these messages.
If you did checked his files, so you check all the files of your users? Isn’t that a shady practice itself. Unless his bot was using a very HIGH amount of resources, it should not be possible to catch it.

We discovered the bot’s activity through user reports. Multiple users came forward about receiving suspicious DMs, which led us to investigate. Upon reviewing logs and permissions, we found that the bot was created under the user’s role and was being used to send phishing messages.

We do not actively monitor user files unless there is a valid reason, such as security concerns raised by community members. In this case, the investigation was necessary to protect users from potential harm. The actions we took were in response to clear misuse of privileges and a breach of trust. Our Terms require us to investigate flagged servers.
